FCCSC Postpones The Start Of 2020-2021 School Year

FCCSC students will now return to classes on Wednesday, August 12 and 13.

(Franklin Co., Ind.) - Franklin County Community School Corporation (FCCSC) students will have an extra week of summer break. 

On Wednesday, FCCSC released an updated Reopening Plan that includes a later start date of the 2020-2021 school year. 

The corporation will still be implementing a staggered start date, just one week later. 

  • Students in grades Pre-K (BES only),1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11 will attend school on Wednesday, August 12.
  • Students in grades Pre-K (BES only), K, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 will attend school on Thursday, August 13.
  • All students in grades K-12 will attend school on Friday, August 14.
  • Online students and LES Preschool begins, Monday, August 17.

Additionally, a school calendar was release that includes holidays and early release days throughout the year.
