Fatal ORV Accident Under Investigation in Jefferson Co.

(Jefferson County, Ind.) – Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a fatal off-road vehicle accident that claimed the life of a juvenile.

Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of N. 600 W. on Saturday around 5:09 p.m.

Upon arriving at the scene, responders located a side-by-side ORV on its side.

A 13-year-old female who occupied the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

Further details about the crash have not been released as the investigation is ongoing.
