The annual band competition helped kickoff Fall Fest on Thursday night.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg Fall Fest got off to a fantastic start Thursday night thanks to some great local bands.
The annual Battle of the Banks band competition took place on the Main Stage in the Lawrenceburg Community Center Parking lot.
Taking first place was Wade and Murphy, aka, Adam Gilliam and Jeff Lansing. They were sponsored by First Financial Bank. Coming in second was Jessie Strassell Music, which was sponsored by Civista Bank. Third place went to the Terry Johnson Bank (U.S. Bank).
Other participating bands included EFN sponsored by Friendship State Bank and J.A.C.B. sponsored by Dearborn Savings Bank.
Lawrenceburg Fall Fest continues through Saturday, September 28.
