Explosions Heard In Boone Co. Trailer Fire

A mobile home in Verona went up in flames Monday morning.

(Boone County, Ky.) – Explosions were heard as a mobile home burned in southern Boone County early Monday morning.

Firefighters say nobody was inside when the trailer caught fire around 12:30 a.m. on Crouch Road near Beaver Road in Verona. The trailer was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived at the scene.

The explosions may have been ammunition or car parts, according to firefighters.

A cause of the fire is under investigation.
