Emergency Road Aid Funds Awarded To Boone County

The funds will be used for a project on Lawrenceburg Ferry Road.

(Covington, Ky.) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet today announced that the Boone County Fiscal Court will receive $120,000 in County Road Aid emergency funds for repair of a slide on Lawrenceburg Ferry Road

“The Transportation Cabinet is pleased to approve this request for funding to provide assistance to Boone County to repair and maintain safe connections in the community,” said Transportation Secretary Jim Gray. 

The repairs will take place on Lawrenceburg Ferry Road, approximately 1.3 miles north of KY 20.

The Boone County Fiscal Court is responsible for administering the work.
