East Central High School FCCLA Shines at State Convention

42 EC FCCLA members qualified for the national convention.

(Muncie, Ind.) - Students from East Central High School showed off their talents at the annual Indiana FCCLA 2024 State Leadership Conference.

The event took place February 28 through March 2 at the Horizon Convention Center in Muncie. 

East Central FCCLA had 63 members compete at the event, brining home 51 Gold Medals, 10 Silver Medals and one Bronze Medal in a wide array of Family and Consumer Sciences Projects.

Of the 63 participants, 42 qualified for National FCCLA Competition and six students are alternates to national competition in Seattle, Washington.

Students carried out their projects by building boards, writing portfolios, preparing food, designing, sewing garments and writing speeches.
