Making a positive impact.

(St. Leon, Ind.) - Three East Central High School students have made a positive impact in their community.

Ashley Kuhn, Callie Barrett, and Abby Bittner recently collected and donated 15 "Bags of Hope" to patients receiving cancer treatment at the Margaret Mary Cancer Center for their FCCLA Chapter Service Project-STAR Event.

Each bag was filled with a water bottle, puzzle book, pens and pencils, grippy soaks, blanket, chap stick and an inspirational message of encouragement.

In addition, they collected $150 to donate to the Margaret Mary Health Foundation in support of the Cancer Care Fund.
