(Switzerland County, Ind.) - Several Duke Energy customers in Switzerland County continue to be without power after storms rolled through the area last night.

According to Duke Energy, about 1,150 customers are without power due to two broken utility poles that need to be replaced, several broken cross arms and several spans of downed wires.

The power outage caused Switzerland County Schools to close today due to no power on campus.

Restoration isn't expected until this afternoon.
