SEIMA Announces 2019 Hall Of Fame Inductees

Join the Southeastern Indiana Musicians Association to honor the 2019 inductees on Nov. 2nd

(Batesville, Ind.) – The Southeastern Indiana Musicians Association will be honoring locals at the annual Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony and Concert.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 2nd at the Gibson Theater in Batesville. Doors open at 6 PM and the show will start at 7 PM.

This year’s ceremony will feature Nashville artist and hit songwriter Radney Foster. Foster has seen time on the Billboard Hot Country Charts thirteen times, including a couple of Top Ten hits. He will be performing with his longtime guitarist Eddie Heinzelman.

You will also see performances by local musicians Toby Huff and Ron Hollowell.

This year's Hall of Fame Inductees will include William Switzer - (posthumous induction), Gary Holdsworth, Patsy Holdsworth (posthumous induction) and Musicians: Eddie Heinzelman, Doug Heller, Russell Griffith, Brian DeBruler, Michelle DeBruler, David Lacey, Goose Ingles (posthumous induction), and Nick Ullrich.

The 2019 Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony and Concert will be the first to promote a new annual “Inspire Local Music Fund” to help young, local musicians to further their dreams to pursue a career in music. The proceeds from this year’s event will be used for the first award that will be given in 2020.

Advanced ticket sales are available on the Southeastern Indiana Musician’s Association website. Tickets will be held at the Gibson Theater “will-call” and will be available the day of the show.
