(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Forty authors are scheduled to appear at the Lawrenceburg Main Library next week.
The Local Authors Fair will run from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20.
Authors scheduled to appear include: Maria Steinmetz (M.C. Metz), Judy McCarty Kuhn, Jessica and Alexandra Elam, Dr. Don Heinrich Tolzmann, Susan Troutt, Rhett R. Dennerline, Rebecca Wilhelm, M.E. Lavern/Mary Ellen Quigley, Carrie Ficklin, Bobbi Cornett, Jacob Minasian, H.T. Martineau, Heidi Thompson, Aleigh K. Dean, Effy Williamson, Cindy Tanner, Melanie Jayne/M. Jayne, Emily Wetterich, Sheri Roach, Ava Cuvay, Emmie R. Werner, Topher W. Henry, Cherie Dawn Haas, Mike Sherer, Paul Wonning, Janet E. Irvin/J.E. Irvin, Jeff Suess, Jennifer Thomas, Marionna Thomas, Deanna Johnson, Susan Ray, Lawrence (Larry) Blundred, Patricia Pierce, J.V Sadler, Andrew M. Houghtaling, Tina Neely, Constance Sedler, Kathryn Bennett and Lorry Kirschner.
Many of the authors are friends and neighbors who live in Dearborn County or are from the area and have written about Dearborn County. They will have books for sale for ages kid to adult.
Attendees could also win a library cooking-themed prize basket.
DeLISHious Creations will sell baked goods with a portion of the proceeds supporting the nonprofit Friends of the Lawrenceburg Public Library District, which funds the library district's many programs.
Barks and Books also will be held that day. Kids can stop by the Lawrenceburg Main Library between 11 a.m. and noon to read to a trained therapy dog and receive a free mini stuffed animal super dog while supplies last.
Another fun activity has been scheduled with Author Alicia Rasley. She will present a free writing workshop Story-builders! Let's Get Started Plotting!.
In addition, you can meet with some of the authors during an Authors Dessert Reception from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 19, at the Lawrenceburg Main Library.
