The increased fees go in effect March 9.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - Beginning March 9, the Dearborn County Recycling Center will be increasing the fees for several recycling services.
According to the DCRC, this change is necessary to offset the rising operational costs at the recycling center as well as meet the growing demand for the community.
Fees for tires have not been increased since June of 2022, and fees for freon appliances have not been increased since 2015.
While the price for televisions has not increased, the DCRC will now be charging residents for monitors. Laptops and tablets are not included as monitors.
Recycling of freon appliances is $25. Monitors cost $15.
