Dearborn Co. Health Department Announces Possible COVID-19 Exposure Locations

The best way to stop and slow the spread of this virus is to follow the stay-at-home order to distance yourself from risks.

(Dearborn Co., Ind.) - The Dearborn County Health Department (DCHD) has recently released information to the community regarding locations throughout the area where contact with a positive case may have occurred.

While the DCHD stresses that this is not meant to induce panic, it is important for the public to be aware of the situation.

This list below represents different locations in the community where contact with a positive case may have occurred:

  • 3/18 Amazon Air Hub Florence, KY

"Though this list details the travels of a select number of positive cases, it does not represent the risk to the community as a whole," says DCHD. "Many people may be exhibiting minor symptoms or none at all who have traveled to many places such as these and others. Please treat every location you frequent as though there is a risk."

The health department reminds the community to always practice social distancing, constant hand washing, keeping hands away from your face, and cleaning/disinfecting high traffic areas in the home and workplace

Some additional tips include discarding packaging and envelopes immediately after opening and wiping down purchased goods.

The best way to stop and slow the spread of this virus is to follow the stay-at-home order to distance yourself from risks.
