County commissioners made the decision on Wednesday.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Dearborn County Commissioners are implementing stricter restrictions for all county government facilities.
A decision was made on Wednesday by county commissioners to implement controlled access procedures to all Dearborn County Government facilities effective Monday, November 9.
That means facilities will be open to the public by appointment only. Pre-scheduled court hearings and other confirmed office appointments should not be affected, according to a news release from county commissioners.
The was made out of an abundance of caution due to the recent high level “Weekly Scores” the county has been placed on by the State.
Offices will remain staffed during normal business hours but the public is being asked to conduct business via phone, online or fax.
