Deadline is Friday for Ohio Co. Soil & Water Conservation District Photo Contest

Thirteen winning photos will be selected for their 2026 calendar.

(Ohio County, Ind.) - Time is running out to enter the Ohio County Soil and Water Conservation District's 2nd annual Photography Contest. 

The deadline to enter is Friday, August 1 at 10;00 a.m.

Amateur photographers and local community members are eligible to enter. Photos must be taken in Ohio County with a preferred horizontal format to prevent cropping. 

The submission limit is up to five photos per person. 

Categories include: rural life and wildlife, landscapes and waterscapes, and conservation in action. 

The SWCD Board will select 13 winning photos to be featured on the cover and each month of their 2026 calendar.
