DCHD Reports Spill in Greendale

The DCHD sent out a Public Notice of Petroleum Release, Spill or Overfill on Wednesday.

(Greendale, Ind.) – A spill has been reported in the City of Greendale.

According to the Dearborn County Health Department, the discovery of a petroleum release, spill  or overfill took place at an underground storage tank site or surrounding area at a facility in the 400 block of Bellview Drive.

The Indiana Department of Environmental Management was notified on Monday.

The spill or overfill was the result of an incident from the owner or operator of the AFM No. 29401 Inc. facility.
