DCH Delivers First Baby of 2012

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Dearborn County Hospital has welcomed its first baby of 2012.

 

Jordan Alexander Jones was born at 3:00 a.m. Tuesday in the DCH Birthing Center. Dr. Stephen Kraeling delivered the baby.

 

Jordan’s parents are Danielle Johnson and John Jones, of Versailles. She weighed seven pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 inches long.

 

The hospital gave the family a gift basket and $200 in gift cards for having the year’s first baby.

 

Eagle 99.3 was incorrect in stating that Margaret Mary Community Hospital’s first baby of 2012 was the first baby born in southeast Indiana in the new year Tuesday.
