Mitch Daniels
(Indianapolis, Ind.) - Governor Daniels is not ruling out the possibility he would join the ticket of the Republican presidential nominee next year.
Daniels decided in May he would not run for President. He cited the wishes of his wife and daughters as the reason for his decision.
But, he told WISH-TV in Indianapolis, he might be willing to entertain the thought of running for Vice President.
“I always felt that no citizen should say in advance if asked to serve I won’t,”
Daniels is entering his final year as governor of Indiana. He is limited to two terms.
