UPDATE: North Dearborn Rd. Reopens After Wreck Into Utility Poles

North Dearborn Road is closed just east of Stateline Road Friday afternoon.

Dearborn County Dispatch says North Dearborn Road is re-open as of 3:39 p.m.

(Bright, Ind.) - A vehicle crash has forced North Dearborn Road to close - likely for a number of hours - Friday, August 9.

Dearborn County dispatchers say the crash occurred on North Dearborn Road at Orchard Drive before 1:00 p.m.

The wreck resulted in multiple utility poles being damaged. Some service lines were detached from nearby homes.

North Dearborn Road is going to be closed until further notice, according to dispatchers. Jamison Road, which has just reopened after a months-long construction project, is open and allowing motorists to detour that way.

No injuries were reported in the crash.
