(Aurora, Ind.) – A COVID-19 mass vaccination clinic has been scheduled in Dearborn County.
The Dearborn County Health Department and volunteers will conduct a mass vaccination effort at the old Merchant’s Bank at 13950 Wilson Creek Road in Aurora on Saturday, April 10.
The clinic will run from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Pre-registration is expected to be open by the end of the day Monday at ourshot.in.gov. Hoosier 18 and older may register for this particular clinic, considering the Moderna vaccine is not approved for those age 16 and 17.
Health officer Dr. Stephen Eliason tells Eagle Country 99.3 that approximately 800 doses of the Moderna vaccine available.
An appointment for the second dose will be made at the initial appointment.
Dr. Eliason adds that the mass vaccination effort is in addition to the ongoing clinic at the Lawrenceburg Event Center.
