(Rising Sun, Ind.) - Congressman Greg Pence, our 6th District representative in Washington, D.C., was back home this past weekend, meeting with his constituents.

One of his stops was in Rising Sun where he and his Deputy Chief of Staff, Ryan Jarmula, met with local Vietnam Veterans to discuss the helicopter they are working on getting for the riverfront in Aurora.

Congressman Pence’s office is working closely with U.S. Senator, Mike Braun’s office and his Regional Director, John Moton. Congressman Pence is very optimistic about the acquisition of this piece of military history and is working with the Army Donation Center to make this happen.

They are coordinating with the Army National Guard to acquire the Huey for Aurora.

Jerry Bondurant, Ron Spurlock, Mike LaFollette and PG Gentrup were representing Vietnam Veterans Chapter 71 at the meeting.
