Community/Junior College Scholarship Applications Available

Applications are due by July 19.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - The Community/Junior College scholarship application for Cycle II is currently available. The application can be found on the Ohio County Community Foundation website: www.occfrisingsun.com. Applications are due July 19th at 3:00 p.m.

The Community/Junior College Scholarship is open to all Ohio County, IN residents who will be attending a two-year college or trade school, have been a resident of the county for at least one year, and have already obtained a high school diploma, HSE or GED. The scholarship is available to those looking to return to school, not just recent graduates.

The scholarship amount is $1,000 per scholarship cycle. Applicants are eligible to apply for the Community/Junior College Scholarship up to a total of six times. This scholarship is offered three times throughout the calendar year.
