Combine Goes Up In Flames

(Milan, Ind.) - One local farmer’s harvest is on hold after a combine fire.

The fire happened around 5:00 Tuesday afternoon in a field near Milan. Four local fire departments responded from Milan, Moores Hill, Dillsboro, and Friendship.

One firefighter was injured putting out the combine blaze, and was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

The combine was believed to be a total loss.

Ripley County EMS assisted on the call.
