S.R. 250 to reopen west of Township Line Road, to close east of Fairview Road.

(Switzerland County, Ind.) - Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Morphey Construction, Inc. is scheduled to close State Road 250 just east of Fairview Road on or after Tuesday, May 5, to complete a box culvert replacement project.
The closure will take place between Fairview Road and Shiloh Road. S.R. 250 is expected to reopen in mid-June, weather permitting. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route, which follows S.R. 129 to S.R. 56.
This closure will take place following the reopening of the current closure on S.R. 250 between Aaron Road and Township Line Road.
This project is part of a contract awarded to Morphey Construction in November 2025. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
