(Ohio County, Ind.) – A portion of State Road 156 will close for a slide repair project.
INDOT contractor Paul H. Rohe Company is scheduled to close State Road 156 approximately three miles south of Rising Sun on or after Tuesday, April 9.
The closure will take place between State Road 56 and North Landing Road and is expected to be complete by late July.
Crews will begin to place signage in the area prior to the start of construction. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route which follows State Road 56 from Rising Sun to Vevay.
The contract includes a total of three projects, two of which will be complete in 2024 and one that will begin in 2025.
