(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The City of Lawrenceburg's annual Christmas Essay Contest was a hit again in 2025.
Having read over 300 Christmas essays from Central Elementary School students, Mayor Mollaun stated "The essays submitted this year were a JOY to read!”
This year, students were asked "what is your favorite Christmas song and why?"
The Christmas essay contest is sponsored each year by the City of Lawrenceburg. Three winners were selected in each grade and received their winning essay custom framed along with a gift card as follows: 1st place $100, 2nd place $50, 3rd place $25.
