A home's chimney caught fire Sunday evening.

(Aurora, Ind.) - A chimney fire was put out by firefighters in Aurora Sunday night.
The fire was reported at around 8:30 on the 10600 block of Trevor Drive, just off of Dutch Hollow Road, according to AFD Assistant Chief Todd Biedenharn.
Firefighters from Aurora and Hogan Township responded and saw smoke and embers coming from the chimney. They put out the chimney fire within 15 minutes of the call.
Nobody was hurt. The quick response prevented any damage inside the home, and the chimney will need only an inspection and good cleaning.
"It is the time of the year to make sure your chimneys are clean," said Biedenharn.
Aurora EMS assisted at the scene.
