(Cincinnati, Oh.) – Mount St. Joseph University is raising a glass and saying “cheers” to 100 years.
The year 2020 will mark the university’s Centennial Anniversary, but the party will officially get started on Friday, September 13.
The Mount has partnered with West Side Brewing to create a limited-edition beer called “Centenni-ale.”
The beer, which blends a light Belgian Witbier and a hoppy American IPA is crafted by Drs. Tim Lawson and Andy Rasmussen, instructors of MSJ’s BRW 101 beer brewing class.
Beer enthusiasts can enjoy a pint of the Centenni-Ale at a special preview party at West Side Brewing on Friday, September 13 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The limited-edition beer is also available by the case at www.toasttab.com.
If beer isn’t your thing, MSJ will host a Centennial Kickoff Celebration in the Quad on Saturday, September 15 at 5:30 p.m. The event will include food trucks, fun and fireworks.
