Bus Carrying College Basketball Team Catches Fire Near Greendale

The incident occurred on I-275 near the Indiana/Ohio state line.

(Greendale, Ind.) - Multiple agencies responded to a fire along Interstate 275 on Sunday afternoon. 

A bus carrying the IU Indy basketball team reportedly caught fire near the Indiana/Ohio line sometime after 4:00 p.m. The team was traveling back to Indianapolis after a game at Northern Kentucky University. 

All passengers were able to evacuate the bus with no injuries reported. 

The bus is a complete loss. 

There was some damage reported to the asphalt along Interstate 275.
