Brookville Man Convicted of Domestic Abuse Receives Sentence

Brandon Ashby was found guilty by jury in October.

(Brookville, Ind.) - Brandon Ashby will spend the next 30 months in the Indiana Department of Corrections. 

The 35-year-old from Brookville recently received the maximum sentence after being convicted of domestic battery for the second time in three years. 

The charge stemmed from an incident in June of 2024 when Ashby was accused of physically abusing his then-girlfriend following an argument. 

Ashby stood trial earlier this year and was found guilty.
