The charges stem from and incident that occurred at an Oldenburg home on July 14.

(Oldenburg, Ind.) - A Brookville man is facing charges of resisting law enforcement and criminal mischief.
Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home on Main Street in Oldenburg on July 14th, where Shane Allen was allegedly intoxicated and destroying the house and a vehicle.
When deputies came into contact with Allen, he allegedly spit and jabbed a finger into one of the deputies’ faces.
Allen continued to resist after being handcuffed and allegedly threatened the lives of the deputies and their families.
He is charged with Battery on a Public Safety Official (level 6 felony), Resisting Law Enforcement (Class A misdemeanor) and Criminal Mischief (Class B misdemeanor).
Allen was booked into Franklin County Jail on five-thousand cash bond.
