(Ohio County, Ind.) - Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Dave O'Mara Contractor, Inc. is scheduled to begin a bridge deck overlay project on State Road 262 over Arnold Creek on or after Tuesday, April 1, in Ohio County.

Work will take place just west of Rising Sun between Dutch Ridge Road and Nelson Road and is expected to be complete in mid-October, weather permitting. Temporary traffic signals will be used and an 11-foot width limit will be in effect while work is in progress.

This work is part of a $1.5 million contract awarded to Dave O'Mara in December 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
