(Dearborn County, Ind.) – A bridge deck replacement project has been scheduled for Dearborn County.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the State Road 46 bridge over East Fork Tanners Creek will close on or after Tuesday, April 6.
The bridge is located approximately 2.81 miles west of State Road 1, near Trackville Road.
Dave O’Mara Contractor Inc. will be completing a $2.3 million deck replacement and widening project. The State Road 46 bridge over East Fork Tanners Creek is expected to be closed for up to 150 days through early September.
The official detour will follow Interstate 74 between State Road 1 and State Road 101. Trackville Road is expected to stay open during construction and local access will be maintained for residents and businesses in the area.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and use extra caution when driving near work zones.
