A Warsaw man was found dead along U.S. 42 after being struck by a vehicle.

(Boone County, Ky.) – A Warsaw man was found dead after being struck by a vehicle in Boone County.
David Jones, 69, has been identified as the man found deceased along U.S. 42 early Thursday morning.
According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Jones was traveling westbound on U.S. 42 around 7:15 a.m. when he crossed the eastbound lane, traveled off the roadway, and struck a fence.
Jones then walked away from his vehicle and onto U.S. 42, where he was struck by an oncoming vehicle that did not stop.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.
