Boone Co. Man Pleads Guilty To Taking Inappropriate Photos Of Minor

(Union, Ky.) – A Boone County man has been sentenced for taking inappropriate photos of a minor.

On Wednesday, Mark Fowler, 53, pleaded guilty in Boone County Court to eight counts of Attempted Possession and Possession of Viewing Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor.

According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Fowler took inappropriate photos of an unknowing minor during his time as an assistant swim coach at Ryle High School.

Fowler was sentenced to 180 days in jail and must register as a sexual offender for the rest of his life.
