Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine held the ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration at its new Lawrenceburg office on Thursday, June 26. Photo provided. (Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine opened the doors to their second Indiana location on Monday, June 23rd. The Lawrenceburg office is located in the Medical Office Building at 605 Wilson Creek Road, directly across from Dearborn County Hospital. Board certified and fellowship trained physicians, David Argo, MD, Jaideep Chunduri, MD and Robert Rolf, MD will provide comprehensive orthopaedic, spine, and sports medicine services for patients in Southeast Indiana. Dr. Argo has also been named Medical Director for Lawrenceburg High School and together with Kyle Patrick, Certified Athletic Trainer, will provide year-round sports medicine and athletic training coverage for the Tigers. Glen Prasser, Beacon’s CEO said, “We are happy to be a part of the Lawrenceburg community and to offer immediate access and more convenient services to the people who rely on Beacon for their orthopaedic and sports medicine care. It also represents a great opportunity for us to work together with Dearborn County Hospital in delivering outstanding care to Lawrenceburg and surrounding communities.” Later in the week, Beacon’s Lawrenceburg physicians and administration welcomed Dearborn County Hospital, members of the Lawrenceburg Chamber of Commerce, representatives of the City of Lawrenceburg and the general public to a celebration and ribbon cutting at the new office. Mayor Carr joined members of the Lawrenceburg Chamber, Beacon physicians, Shain Bollen (office manager), Prasser and other Beacon associates for the ceremonial ribbon cutting. The ceremony was followed by tours of the new facility and interviews hosted by Eagle 99.3. “The grand opening was exciting for Beacon. This new office provides Lawrenceburg same day access to state of the art orthopedic, sports medicine, and spine care”, said Dr. Argo. “I also look forward to spending time on the Lawrenceburg High School sidelines on Friday nights!” Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine was founded in 1996 as a multi-physician practice providing orthopaedic care to the Cincinnati community. The practice has since grown into a nationally known and respected provider of orthopaedic care with six convenient locations in the Greater Cincinnati area.
