Batesville Police Announce Speed Limit Change on State Road 129

The speed limit has been reduced on a portion of SR 129.

(Batesville, Ind.) - There is a new traffic regulation in place within the city limits of Batesville. 

The Batesville Police Department announced Thursday that the speed limit on State Road 129 has been reduced to 35 MPH from State Road 46 to Winding Way. 

Police encourage motorists to use extreme caution and watch for pedestrians when traveling through the area. 

The new speed limit is put in place due to a new crosswalk near the Southeastern Indiana YMCA crossing at State Road 129.
