Average Gas Price Rises to $5 in Indiana

Locally, Ohio County has the highest average price at the pump, according to AAA.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The average cost for a gallon of regular gas has risen above $5 in Indiana.

AAA reported another record-high average price for Indiana on Monday at $5.002 per gallon.

Supply and demand and high crude oil prices continue to drive up prices at the pump, according to AAA>

Locally, gas prices are highest on average in Ohio County at $5.159.

How other local counties are faring:

  • Dearborn - $4.955
  • Franklin - $5.063
  • Ripley - $5.074
  • Switzerland - $4.864

As of Monday, the average cost for a gallon of regular gas in Ohio stands at $4.831. In Kentucky, the average price is $4.660.
