(Aurora, Ind.) - The City of Aurora will have a scheduled water outage to install new valves and remove an old fire hydrant.
The outage will take place Thursday, September 23 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Areas affected include Billingsley Drive, Woodlawn and all side streets, Ridge Avenue and all side streets, Sunnyside and SR 148 to Kopp Farm property.
The city will flush the main lines when turning water back on, but would like to remind customers to flush their own plumbing with a non-screened hydrant.
