Aurora Native, LHS Grad Cast as Lead in Production of 'Hairspray'

ATLANTA - An Aurora native and Lawrenceburg High School graduate has landed a massive role. 

Darci Combs-Garibay has been cast as the lead in an upcoming production of Hairspray.

"I am so beyond excited to announce that I will be playing Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray with Pretty as a Penny Productions. This opportunity is seriously a dream come true," said Combs-Garibay in a social media post. 

The 2023 LHS graduate will hit the stage October 2-24 at the Clyde and Sandra Strickland Grand Stage in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Tickets can be purchased here.

"I cannot wait to work with this cast and production team," Combs-Garibay added.
