(Aurora, Ind.) - The Aurora Farmers Fair may be months away, but the excitement is already starting to build.
On Sunday, event organizers announced this year's theme, grand marshal, and musical lineup.
This year's theme is "Community First".
The grand marshal for the Aurora Farmers Fair Parade is Harley of Cochran. Since their inception back in the early 1980s, Harley of Cochran has worked tirelessly to build our reputation as a philanthropic group, not a stereotyped gang of bikers. The group has supported charities such as the YES Home, sports teams and scholarships. They also helped erect a shelter at the Lauren Hill Memorial Dog Park in April.
Live music will continue to be a big part of the Aurora Farmers Fair. Performing at the fair this year is My Brother's Keeper, Jason Crabb, Blue Stone Ivory, The Van Dells, New Frontiers (The Definitive Journey Tribute), and Strutter (KISS Tribute).
2023 will mark the Aurora Farmers Fair's 114th year of operation.
The fair will run October 4-7.
