Multiple sources confirm city council candidate Rick Orcutt was arrested Wednesday.
(Aurora, Ind.) - A candidate for Aurora City Council is expected to be criminally charged after a physical altercation with a South Dearborn Community School Corporation administrator.
Eagle Country 99.3 has learned Rick Orcutt was arrested Wednesday following an alleged altercation with an administrator at the school corporation’s central office in Aurora.
Orcutt could be formally charged Thursday with felony and misdemeanor battery. He could also make his initial appearance in court Thursday.
Orcutt is a Democratic candidate for Aurora City Council At-Large in the upcoming May 7, 2019 primary election. He is uncontested in the primary.
A request for comment sent to Orcutt Wednesday night has not received a response.
