The King and Queen Contest helped kick off the fair on Wednesday.

(Aurora, Ind.) - Royalty was crowned on Wednesday night at the Aurora Farmers Fair.
South Ripley's Landon Saylor and East Central's Chloe Stewart were named King and Queen during the annual competition. Each received a $1,000 scholarship from Ivy Tech Community College.
For Saylor, he is the first South Ripley High School student to win King at Farmers Fair.
Stewart is the fifth East Central student to be crowned Queen since 2010.
