(Versailles, Ind.) – Four Southeastern Career Center students were among the top placers at the SkillsUSA Indiana State Leadership and Skills Conference.
The event took place April 19-20 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.
Participants attended career exhibits and advisor meetings, in addition to competing in various skill competitions.
Local winners include:
- Henry Strotman, East Central, 1st place in Electrical Construction Wiring
- Myles Kinnet, Rising Sun, 1st place in Heavy Equipment
- John Meyer, Batesville, 2nd place in Heavy Equipment
- Bradyen Tice, South Dearborn, 1st place in Building Maintenance
The purpose of each competition was to evaluate each contestant’s preparation for employment and to recognize outstanding students for excellence and professionalism in their respective fields.
