Niche has released its 2024 Best Public High Schools in Indiana list.
Locally, Batesville High School ranked the highest at 18th overall. Batesville received an overall A grade. Their report card featured A+ teachers, A academics, A- administration, B clubs and activities, B college prep and B- sports.
Other local schools falling on the list include:

- Lawrenceburg HS (120)
- Milan HS (155)
- South Ripley (190)
