Lawrenceburg Fire joined several departments from Ohio for the crucial training.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Lawrenceburg Fire Department recently joined several are fire departments for a joint training on the Whitewater River.
The training helped firefighters sharpen and refine their skills for water-related incidents.
Lawrenceburg Fire Department currently has 12 state-certified Swiftwater Technicians, as the department responds along other departments to all county water rescue calls.
In the past few weeks, Lawrenceburg Fire Department Rescue 4 responded to nine water incidents spanning Dearborn and Ohio counties in Indiana and Hamilton County, Ohio.
Departments attending the training were: Lawrenceburg Fire Department, Miami Township, Whitewater Township, Colerain Township, Harrison, Ross Township, Springfield Township, Forest Park, Morgan Township, Cincinnati Fire Departments Hamilton County Ohio, and the Hamilton County Urban Search and Rescue.
