American Legion Post 239 to Host Memorial Day Parade in Lawrenceburg

The parade will start at 10:00 p.m. Monday, May 26.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The American Legion Post 239 will host its annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 26. 

Participants are asked to gather at the Dearborn County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m. The parade starts at 10:00. 

The route will go from the Courthouse east on High Street, turning left onto Walnut Street then proceed to St. Lawrence Church. 

A Memorial Day Ceremony will follow at the Greendale Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. at Soldiers Circle. Retired Judge James Humphrey will serve as the guest speaker. 

Following the festivities, all are invited to an open house at the American Legion Post 239 at 201 2nd Street in Lawrenceburg for refreshments.
