The online retailer is holding a hiring event Wednesday, August 2 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tours of the facility will be given and many employees will be hired on the spot. Be sure to bring proof of your identity. About 2,000 part-time, full-time and seasonal employees are needed at Amazon’s Hebron location as the company ramps up for the upcoming holiday season. Starting pay is about $23 per hour. More information is available online at www.amazondelivers.jobs. Wednesday’s hiring event in Hebron is part of a larger, nationwide hiring blitz by Amazon. The company has 50,000 jobs to fill as it works toward a previously announced goal of hiring 100,000 full-time workers by mid-2018. Applicants for the Amazon jobs must be 18 or older. Amazon will be conducting much more hiring in Hebron in the near future. Earlier this year, the company announced it will invest up to $1.5 billion to establish a Prime Air Hub at the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport.
