UPDATE: State Road 48 has reopened to traffic.
(Dearborn County, Ind.) - A portion of State Road 48 is temporarily closed for a serious accident.
Dispatchers reported a motorcycle accident on State Road 48 near State Road 148 around 1:30 this afternoon.
Air care was called to the scene.
Traffic is being diverted down State Road 148.
No further information has been provided at this time.
