(Wilmington, Oh.) – A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the tri-state area.

According to the National Weather Service, accumulating snow is expected this evening through Friday evening.

One to two inches of snow with locally higher amounts around three inches will be possible.

With cold air in place, even small snowfall amounts will lead to the potential for slick road conditions.

Motorists are advised to use extra caution if traveling this evening and throughout the day Friday.
