The convoy will run through Ripley County

(Osgood, Ind.) - The 5th annual Southern Indiana Truck Convoy to benefit Make-A-Wish is set for August 1 at the Ripley County Fairgrounds.
Participants will take a 27-mile drive through Ripley County escorted by INDOT and several area fire departments.
Gates open at 8:00 a.m. and brakes will be released at 1:00 p.m.
The registration fee is $50 per truck. Trophies will be awarded for Oldest Truck, Oldest Working Truck, Driver Who Came the Farthest, and Company with the Most Trucks.
Other festivities include free activities for kids, live music, silent auction and live auction.
Over the last four years, the event has raised approximately $120,000. That is enough for 12 wishes granted.
